Agape Laboratory Services Achieves ISO 15189:2022 Accreditation, Sets Benchmark for Quality Medical Laboratory Practice
Agape Laboratory Services, located along Ago Palace Way, Okota, Lagos, has attained a significant milestone in Nigeria’s healthcare sector following the award of the prestigious ISO 15189:2022 accreditation by the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN) Accreditation Service.
According to the official notification issued by the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN), the accreditation became effective on July 1, 2026, and will remain valid until June 30, 2030, subject to continued compliance with the international standard.
The ISO 15189:2022 standard is the globally recognized benchmark for quality and competence in medical laboratories. Accreditation under this standard demonstrates that a laboratory has met rigorous requirements in quality management, technical competence, patient safety, personnel qualification, equipment calibration, testing accuracy, and continuous quality improvement.
The achievement places Agape Laboratory Services among the growing number of Nigerian medical laboratories that have successfully demonstrated conformity with internationally accepted best practices in laboratory medicine.
